Celebrating 150 years
Our family business was founded in 1875 as T&E Neville by brothers, Thomas and Edward, who were builders, joiners and coffin makers in Luton during a period of exponential population growth in the region. The brothers dedicated their professional lives serving and supporting the local community with compassionate, professional services delivered at a high quality. By the early 20th century, additional premises had been found to accommodate the funeral side of Nevilles and the ‘fleet’ increased to twelve black Belgian horses, two glass sided hearses and four Shellabiers.
Since our beginnings the Neville Trust Group of Companies – which also comprises of Neville Special Projects and Neville Joinery – has progressed the legacy of the Neville brothers, building on the delivery of our services which offer a valuable opportunity to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we work. As a family business now working with the fifth and sixth generations of the founding family, we believe in leaving a positive legacy for the next generation through training, career development and charitable giving.
