National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity to recognise the role apprenticeships play in building skilled, sustainable workforces.
This year’s theme, Skills for Life, highlights how apprenticeships equip individuals with long-term, transferable skills while supporting business growth and workforce development.
As part of Apprentice Wednesday, we’re pleased to recognise one of our team members who is currently completing a Professional Embalmer Qualification. Having joined us at 18, she has been training alongside our experienced embalmers while working full-time — gaining valuable hands-on experience every step of the way. 👏
As a leading employer across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, we are committed to developing talent and creating clear career pathways through apprenticeship opportunities.
Tyla commented: “From a young age, I have always found science and biology fascinating, so when I was looking at what I wanted to follow as a career path, I found embalming, and it instantly clicked for me. I have been fortunate enough to work at Neville Funerals full-time while I complete my apprenticeship, and the support from the team has transformed my learning, understanding and development.”
