Russell Couzens

Russell John Couzens. Formerly of Cotton End Post Office.
With great sadness we announce the death of Russ, husband, dad, grandad, brother, uncle and friend.
Russ was born in Cotton End in December 1944. He married Janet in 1967 and they had 2 children, Stephen in 1969 and Lesley in 1972. He continued to live in Cotton End until 1987 before starting new a new adventure in Clapham, and then Bromham where he lived for nearly 30 years. In 2022 he and Janet moved to Spalding.
On becoming ill this year, he moved back to Bedfordshire for his final days to be nearer friends and family and sadly, he left us on the 27th of July 2026.
His funeral will be held at Bedford Crematorium on Friday the 21st of August at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations in Russ's memory to Addenbrookes hospital, to whom we are very grateful for their care and support over recent years. Care which has kept Russ with us for much longer than we expected.
He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. 

Passed away on 27 July 2026, aged 81 years.
