Our Business Development Manager has been part of the Neville team for almost 20 years, working in the funeral profession for nearly 40 years.
She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and supporting others in the industry. As she says: “Training and sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained from working in the funeral industry for almost 40 years is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I want to enable others to be the best they can.”
When she first joined the profession in 1984, the industry looked very different. “The funeral industry was extremely male-oriented when I came into it. In the main, women only had administration roles.” Through dedication, hard work and a willingness to learn from others, she built a career spanning many areas of funeral service.
Over the years, she has had many proud moments, from passing her Funeral Director Diploma in 1987 to managing our Bedford branch, and even being nominated by colleagues for the Neville Excellence Champion Award during our 150th year celebrations.
