Here’s a photo of John Butler (from our sister company Neville Special Projects) with the shoeboxes we collected across the group for the children of Destiny Village in Sierra Leone.
We did well in the short amount of time we had to meet the Christmas shipping deadline but we’ll continue to collect boxes in our office at Luton for a further couple of weeks for those who have promised to bring them in and they can then be dispatched in the next container.
In November, John is once again heading out to Sierra Leone with his church, to work on a large project run by Home Leone. The charity is helping to relocate thousands of people from the devastating conditions of Sierra Leone’s slums and is building at least 1000 new low cost homes, a school and much more. John will be helping practically and showing the local workers how to do the electrics on the new buildings.
