Yesterday, we hosted staff from the Keech Hospice and ran an educational morning for them, covering various areas of the funeral industry from pre-need, registration, funeral arrangements, care of the deceased, and the bereavement aftercare we offer.
Members of staff who specialise in these areas supported by giving more in-depth insight from their own personal experience within the role. They were all so supportive to those in attendance in leading informative conversations and were great at allowing them to engage in these with the questions they had live in the moment.
All those from the Keech who attended said how much they enjoyed the sessions and how interesting they all were, and how moving forward, it will support them with their day-to-day roles when speaking with the families they care for.
