Neville Funerals is sponsoring the Social Darts League (SDL) in Milton Keynes for the second year running. The company has donated £500, which will go towards the running costs of the league.
The Social Darts League was founded in 2018 by Shenley Leisure Centre, the Shenley Sharks darts team, and other teams in the Milton Keynes area to create a local, friendly and charitable league. It has grown year upon year and now boasts more than 130 members. The league plays every Thursday evening and culminates in a Finals Night, which aims to raise money for Autism Bedfordshire and Willen Hospice; two charities chosen by the league sponsors.
Craig Neale, Operations Manager at Shenley Leisure Centre, commented: “The league is a great way for players to enjoy a competitive game of darts, socialise with other teams, and have some fun. “We’re a relatively new league, and sponsorship from companies like Neville Funerals helps us to grow and improve on what we can offer our members. We are extremely grateful to Neville Funerals for their generosity and support.”
