Memorial Trees, set up and beautifully decorated by team members at all 9 Neville Funerals’ branches across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, will be ready for visitors from Friday 1st December.
These very special trees are put up every year, by the staff at Neville Funerals, for customers, neighbours, friends and family to pop in to write a message on a Memorial Card for it to be added to the decorations.
General Manager at Neville Funerals, Lee Pedley, explains: “This has become quite a tradition over the years for our clients and their families, and those from our communities. We provide the specially designed and printed Memorial Cards and visitors can add what they most want – a message, a poem, even a drawing from a younger member of the family. The cards are dedicated to the memory of a loved one lost and decorate our trees throughout the festive season.
“We know and appreciate that this can be quite a difficult and poignant time of year for those that have been bereaved. We offer this service as a way to remember, and to respect those who will be most missed at this time of year, and also as a celebration of life – a positive and uplifting commemoration.”
“As Funeral Directors, we support the bereaved every day and appreciate that despite the excitement around the festive period, it’s still a tough time for many. So, giving our local community an outlet to celebrate their loved ones is something we are extremely pleased to provide.”
Memorial Trees can be found at all Neville Funerals branches at Ampthill, Bedford, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, Hitchin, Luton, Shefford, Stopsley and Woburn Sands.
