Captain Sir Tom Moore

Thank you to those in Neville Funerals responsible for the planning and management of the funeral of Captain Sir Tom Moore. It was an incredible honour and we were all immensely proud to see our team working with outstanding professionalism to escort Captain Sir Tom Moore on his final journey. Vicky Trumper, Director.

Book of Condolence. The family is aware members of the public may wish to send condolences, however at this time of grief, they are simply unable to manage any gifts or flowers sent to the house or village so politely request the public do not send physical tributes at this time. An online book of condolence has been set up at  www.captaintom.org and for those that wish to make donations they have requested these be made to The Captain Tom Foundation, plant a tree in his memory, or donate to a charity of their choice.

Trees for Tom enables people to plant a tree in memory of Captain Sir Tom Moore.  www.treesisters.org/fundraisers/trees-for-tom  invites collective responsibility for the restoration of the global forest and www.woodlandtrust.org.uk  is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity.

Lasting Legacy. There have been many requests to develop a memorial and subsequently the NHS, the Military and Government are working together with The Captain Tom Foundation to develop a fitting tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore. Detail of this will be made public in due course.
